![]() ![]() ![]() Vincent’s story is one of a tortured soul looking for love. He only received acclaim after he died while in his life, he was ridiculed, mocked and rejected in very many ways. Van Gogh made more than 800 paintings but sold only one in his lifetime. I started the book recently and I am up to an amazing read. Here are some wonderful quotes I picked from Irving Stone’s biographical novel of one of the most tragic figures the world has ever known-Vincent van Gogh.
